Betty Loo Mandros, 89, of Lancaster, PA, passed away at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community on Sunday, February 3, 2019.

She was a lifelong resident of Lancaster, graduate of J.P, McCaskey High School, and worked at both Hamilton Watch and RCA before becoming a full-time homemaker. More recently she was a beloved fixture at Marv'n'Sam's Real NY Deli on the Lancaster Central Market where customers and standholders alike called her "mom."

She was the daughter of the late Emerson Franklin Eckman and Maud Marguerite (Myers) Eckman. She was preceeded in death by her beloved husband George C. Mandros and her brother Emmet C. "Jim" Eckman II. She is survived by her two sons Steven D. Shelly (Tammi) of Pequea and Christopher G. Mandros of Lancaster, and her grandchildren, Brandon Shelly, Justin Fellenbaum, and Nicole Smith, as well as her 2 nieces, Linda Eckman Wissler and Virginia Bournelis, and a nephew, Emmet C. Eckman III.
