Betty Jane Kramer, 83, of Lancaster died April 26, 2015 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of Alfred J. Kramer for 63 years. Born on September 12, 1931 in Keyport, NJ she was a daughter of the late Fredrick C. and Emma (Nuckel) Cooper. Betty was a homemaker and attended Calvary Church. Betty loved flowers and gardening. She was always reading a book or the newspaper. She loved to be with family and friends, and playing bingo with her friends. She was always making some kind of food in the kitchen. She was an excellent listener, kind hearted, and always thinking of others. Betty loved the Lord. In addition to her husband Alfred she is survived by two daughters Janet L. Graves wife of Andrew of Lancaster, PA and Cheryl L. Houlday wife of Harold of New Providence, PA; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Gary Kramer; two sisters Mildred (Cooper) Miller and Ruth Cooper and brothers Charles, Emerson and Leroy Cooper. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 2PM from the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A visitation will be held once hour prior to the Funeral Service from 1-2PM. Interment will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
