Betty Jane Eby, age 96, of Willow Street, PA, peacefully passed away on July 9, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Eby. Betty was born in Willow Street, PA to the late Edwin and Esther Adamire Herman.

She dedicated many years working at the Willow Street Vo-Tech Cafeteria before working as a finisher for Graphic Crafts. Outside of her career, Betty found immense joy in gardening, particularly growing vegetables that she lovingly canned for her family and friends. She had a green thumb that extended to her vibrant flower gardens, which brought beauty to her home and neighborhood. Betty enjoyed taking memorable bus trips with her husband to Alaska, the Finger Lakes, and Yellowstone. Family trips to Pleasant View Camp in Clinton County gave her family memories that they will forever cherish. Her family always enjoyed her cooking as well as her delicious baked goods that she baked with love. She was a long-time member of Willow Street UCC. Lately she found peace in the simple things like going for a drive with her sons, looking for deer through Muddy Run Park.

She is survived by her children James Eby, Michael Eby husband of Kathy, and Brenda Olena wife of Shawn; four grandchildren: Krista Eby, Thomas Eby husband of Rachelle, Kelly Mason wife of Kyle, and Eric Olena husband of Lisa; eight great-grandchildren, as well as brother, Richard "Butch" husband of Dottie Herman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six siblings.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Betty's Funeral service on July 15, 2024, at Willow Street United Church of Christ, 2723 Willow Street Pike North, Willow Street, PA 17584 at 11:00 AM. Friends and family will be received from 10:00 AM till the time of service. Interment will be in Willow Street United Church of Christ Cemetery.
