Betty Lou (Blain) Perini, a resident of Susquehanna Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Columbia, Pa., passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015. Born in Penryn, Pa. on July 7, 1932, she was the daughter of the late James Blain and Edith (Schreiner) Blain. A graduate of Lititz High School, she was the membership manager at the Train Collector Association, a position she held for many years. She loved music and reading, the beach, and Penn State Football. She often travelled to New York and Hershey to catch the latest Broadway musicals; spent countless summer weekends at Fenwick Island, DE; took yearly trips to Marco Island and Key West, FL; and spent many fall Saturdays cheering on the Nittany Lions. She is survived by her husband, L. James Perini and recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary; by her four children: Hollee (Perini) Hulderman, Sarasota Fl., Jeffrey Perini, Mount Joy, married to Susan (Hoerner) Perini, Jennifer (Perini) Weems, married to Anthony Weems, Lancaster, and Jon Perini, Lititz; and by her three grandchildren: Sarah and Nicholas Perini and Cameron Weems. Friends and family are invited celebrate Betty's life at the Spacht-Snyder Family Funeral Home, 127 S. Broad St, Lititz, on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 11AM , with a receiving of friends by her family from 10-11AM.
