It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Benjiman Rudolph Franze, a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, who left this world on April 21, 2026, at the age of 36. Ben was born on December 20, 1989, in Lancaster, PA, to Bruce P. Franze and Diana (Dillon) McClellan. 

Ben proudly graduated from Hempfield High School, class of 2009 and made a living as a forklift operator, most recently at Kyocera. An avid gamer with a knack for tinkering, and loved spending his free time repairing and modifying cars, building with wood, and enjoying the thrill of airsoft. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially when he was skateboarding and bicycling. 

Ben is survived by his parents: Bruce Franze, husband of Cindy of Elizabethtown, Diana McClellan, wife of Bill of East Petersburg; a son, James D. Franze; and his sister, Emily Suzanne Neukam, wife of Joshua of Whaleyville, MD. He was welcomed at the gates of heaven by his sorely missed and beloved sister, Sarah M. Franze.

A Funeral Service honoring Ben’s memory will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543, beginning at 2 PM. The family will greet guests from 12 PM until the time of service. Interment to follow at Mountville Cemetery.
