Obituary

Benjamin J. Spangler, 32, of Treetops Dr., Lancaster, died June 21, 2007 in Bozeman, Montana of natural causes.

Born in Reading, he was the son of Jean (Smolko) Spangler of Lancaster and the late Richard L. Spangler.

He was a 1993 graduate of Ephrata High School. Ben was a guitarist and singer in his band, The Touchers. He would tour all over the United States with his band and they were very popular in Montana. They made three CDs and were working on the fourth at the time of his death.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his sister, Beth, wife of Dave Garner of Ephrata, and a niece, Emma Kate Garner of Ephrata, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, at 3:30PM. Friends may be received from 3-3:30PM. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ben's memory to Mental Health America of Lancaster, 630 Janet Ave., Lancaster, PA 17601.
