Ben L. Kelly, Sr., 75, of Leola, passed away at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, March 27, 2017. He was born in Williamstown, Dauphin County, the son of the late Benjamin F. and Margaret R. (Hess) Kelly. Ben and his wife Gail L. (Hoffman) Kelly celebrated 54 years of marriage last May 19th.

A graduate of Williamstown Joint High School, Ben was an owner operator truck driver hauling coal, agricultural lime and stone. He then drove truck for Air Products & Chemicals, Lancaster Terminal, until retirement.

An expert "rigger" and home engineer, Ben was always there when needed, no matter what the situation. He was very supportive and loved his family. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles, hunting, working on cars with his son Ben, flying string controlled airplanes and launching model rockets.

In addition to his wife Gail, Ben is survived by their 3 children, April, wife of Ken Weaver of Lititz, Audra, wife of Russell Heiser of Akron and Ben Kelly, Jr., husband of Joee of Lancaster; and 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held 10-11 AM Friday, March 31, 2017, followed by the funeral at 11 AM with Rev. Steven W. Rodgers officiating, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA.
