Becky J. Treanor, 68, of Leola, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Harlan, IA, Becky was the daughter of Ruth J. (Sorensen) Treanor of Lancaster and the late Charles F. Treanor.

A 1963 graduate of Conestoga Valley High School, Becky spent many years employed as an accountant for various companies, and also co-owned and operated Leola Needle Workshoppe and Sueky Dolls with her sister, Sue.

Becky was very creative; she knitted beautiful Irish knit sweaters and afghans, sewed anything from ruffly little dresses for their porcelain doll business to beautiful wedding and bridesmaid gowns for her sisters, and pieced intricate quilt tops which she and Sue would then quilt.

She loved spending time with her family, her little girl, Mia, and going to the barn to visit her horse, Sara.

In addition to her mother, Becky will be sorely missed by her sister and best friend, Sue, with whom she shared a home; sisters, Pam, wife of Dan McCauley of Lancaster, Wendy, wife of Mike Barton, of Leola, nephew, Cody McCauley, and nieces, Caitlin McCauley, and Samantha and Abbey Barton.
