Beatrice M. Meisel, 97, of Lancaster passed away peacefully at her home on June 13, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas Sunday and Agnes Meyers. Beatrice was married for 75 years to the late Thomas F. Meisel.

Bee was very passionate about tending to her beautiful garden, where she had a variety of flowers, most of them being purple – her favorite color. She worked part-time sewing and doing alterations for over 30 years. She had a lot of friends and loving neighbors. Bee was a great mother and way always there for her children. She was a member of the St. John Neumann Church Bazaar for many years.

Bee is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Ed) Madenford of Millsboro, DE; her son, Mark (Sue) Meisel of Salisbury, MD; and some very special friends and neighbors: Sam, JoAnne, Bernadette, and Linda. She was preceded in death by Thomas B. Meisel (late Tara) and the late Mary Skladany.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
