Beatrice E. Kneisley, 78, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2008, at Hospice of Lancaster County. Born in Lancaster she was a daughter of the late Edward and Elsie Kipphorn Gerlach. She was married to the late Thomas L. Kneisley, Jr.
Mrs. Kneisley was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lititz. She worked as a medical transcriptionist for the former St. Joseph's hospital and more recently for Manor Family Health, where she had been employed for many years.
Mrs. Kneisley is survived by two daughters: Terry Kneisley of Lancaster, Tracy, wife of John Cardenas of Lititz; a beloved granddaughter, Kallie; 7 grand cats, and 1 grand dog. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters.
A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, November 13, 2008, at 11:00a.m. from Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, 200 West Orange Street, Lititz, PA 17543 with Rev. Linda Hanus officiating. There will be a viewing at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 on Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lancaster County, 685 Good Dr. P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
