Beatrice S. Herskowitz, 90, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, December 25th at Harvest Way South at Brethren Village.

The daughter of the late William (Wolf Zisbrenner) and Pauline (Hirschcowitz) Sussman was born in 1923 in Newark, New Jersey. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Herskowitz (WWII Vet), she outlived her siblings: Sarah, infant. Blanche, I. Joseph (WWII Vet) and Rochelle.

Active in supporting her family, her final job was one of the last full time reservation agents of Eastern Airlines. She moved from her retirement location in Arizona to Pennsylvania in 2003 to be closer to her family. Beatrice lived independently in the Fieldcrest apartments until her last year in the full care service of Harvest Way South at Brethren Village.

Beatrice enjoyed being with her family, traveling, dining out, theater, movies and reading. She will be lovingly missed by her children: Linda, wife of Warren Wilson, Robert, husband of the late Anna (Hepfner), and Martin, husband of Debra (Volpe); five grandchildren: Stephanie and Andrew Wilson, Benjamin, William and Patricia Herskowitz; and two great-grandchildren: Joseph and Kateri Herskowitz.

Beatrice will be interred beside her husband in Phoenix, AZ. Please OMIT flowers.
