Barton L. Gibble, 83, of Lititz, passed away at his residence on March 16, 2025.

Born in Lititz and a lifelong resident of the borough, Barton was the son of the late Harold and Mary E. Weidman Gibble.

He attended both St. Philip Neri Collegium in Boston and St. Charles Boromeo College in Maryland.

A 40 year employee of the Wilbur Chocolate Company, he worked many positions there, retiring as the supervisor of the distribution center.

Barton was a long-time member of St. James Catholic Church.

He enjoyed reading, gardening, hiking and biking, and playing golf. He was known for his broad smile and hearty laugh, which everyone loved.

He is survived by his nieces and nephew: Angie Weidman of Lititz, Lori Sollenberger, married to Brian of New Albany, Hope Shaub married to David of Lititz, and Gary Weidman, Jr. married to Fran of Manheim, as well as his 7 great nieces and nephews and 8 great great nieces and nephews, whom he enjoyed.
