Barry S. Williams, 46, of Seven Valleys, PA, formerly of Conestoga, died Monday, April 5, 2010 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Born in Lancaster, Barry was married to Penny M. (Eichelberger) Williams for 26 years.
A 1982 graduate of Lampeter Strasburg High School, Barry also attended, and played football for Penn Manor High School.
Barry was employed by Glaxo Smith Kline for the past three years as a building equipment operator. He was previously employed by R.R. Donnelley & Sons for twenty years.
Barry was interested in Native American artifacts, and American history. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and creating metal sculptures, and loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his four grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Penny, Barry is survived by his children, Barry S. Williams, Jr., of Quarryville, Josh P. Williams of Conestoga, Phoebe M. Williams of Blandon, grandchildren, Barry S. III, Jay T., Silas G., and Chloe Marie Williams, and brothers, Bruce A. Williams, Jr., husband of Sofia, of Conestoga, Robert S. Williams of Johnstown, and Ken A. Williams, husband of Marylou, of Mount Joy. Barry was also the son-in-law of William R. and Jeanne E. Eichelberger.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 9, 2010 at 11 AM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA 17551. There will be a viewing Thursday evening from 6 until 8 PM, and Friday morning from 10 until 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
