With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Barry E. Dissinger. He entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 7, 2024, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 85. Born in Lancaster on Aug. 28, 1938, he was the son of the late Aaron and Elizabeth Dissinger. He shared over 60 years of love and memories with Bonnie Dissinger.

A longtime member of Worship Center, he was active in many programs throughout the church including singing with One A Chord, and Prime Time Live. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, trout, and charter fishing, and was a train and airplane enthusiast. He was quite involved with youth sports programs of ice hockey, and midget football. Many will remember Barry for his pride and joy, his canary yellow Corvette.

He will be missed by his loving wife Bonnie, children Robin Inslee of Lancaster, LeAnn, wife of Jeff Binkley of FL, Ryan Dissinger, husband of Michele of Lititz, and Jody, wife of Todd Fatta of Lancaster, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in passing by his sister, Esther Cammauf.

A Funeral Service honoring Barry's spirit will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Worship Center, 2384 New Holland Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601, beginning at 11 AM. The family invite guests to a viewing at the church from 10 AM until the time of service.
