Barbara J. Vannucci, 63, of Landisville, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2006 after a lengthy illness.   Born in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Marie Sanders Gryctko.  She was married to Eugene D. Vannucci for forty-three years.

An insurance processor, she worked in the business office at the Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster for twenty-three years.  She retired in 2005.

She was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church and served as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist.

Surviving besides her husband are a son, Gregory E. Vannucci of Lancaster;  daughter, Karen A, married to Jim Biondolillo of Lancaster;  four grandchildren, Tyler and Lindsay Vannucci, and T.J. and Daniel Biondolillo; brother, Benjamin Gryctko III of Chesterfield, VA; sisters, Deborah married to Marion Davies of Ensonato, Mexico, and Kathleen married to Preston Sleeger of Portland, Oregon.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Marie Vannucci.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA on Monday at 11AM.  Friends will be received at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel Inc., 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA on Sunday from 7-9PM.  A Christian Prayer service will be held at the funeral home at 8:30PM.  Friends will also be received at the church on Monday morning from 10-10:50AM.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's memory to St. Leo the Great Youth Ministry, 2427 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA 17601.
