Barbara J. Raymond, 81, of Lancaster passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 at Hamilton Arms Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA she was the daughter of the late Philip and Barbara (Grausam) Crawford. She was the wife of the late John E. Raymond who passed away in 2008. She worked at the former Chester Times newspaper where she helped layout the newspaper. Barbara is survived by her sister, Dorothy Neary of Lancaster; niece, Cheryl Jones wife of Joe of Holtwood, PA. Also surviving is a great-niece, Tami Jones, great-nephew, Dan Jones, husband of Nikki and their children, Emily and Delaney and several great nieces, nephews and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Crawford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Friday, August 10, 2018 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster, PA 17603. Interment will follow in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
