Barbara L. Kautz, 71, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2018. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Robert Kirchner and Pearla Martinez Kirchner. Barbara received a degree in Social Work from Harrisburg Area Community College. She loved arts and crafts, especially around the holidays. Her favorite time of year was Christmas and she took great joy in decorating for the holiday. She enjoyed fruit baskets and would always bid on them for charity events. She was a long-time member of Hempfield United Methodist Church and was inspired by the sermons. She is survived by her sons; Brian Ammay, Michael Ammay and his wife Lowella, and Robert Ammay, grandchildren; Tyler Kuhns and Zion Ammay; and sister Michelle Klinedinst. She is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Pearla Kirchner. A graveside service will be held at 10:30am on Friday June 22, 2018 at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
