Barbara J. Eshleman, 52, of Lititz, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, surrounded by her family at Hospice of Lancaster County.

Born in Lancaster, Barbara was the daughter of the late June Reinhart Martzall, and Roy K. Steffy of Mifflintown. Barbara graduated from Conestoga Valley High School, Class of 1976. She was employed by Leola Pet Food prior to her illness. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, hiking and participating in dog agility sports, with her dog, Jesse. She is survived by her loving husband, James R. with whom she shared thirty-two years of marriage.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Brian, husband of Marisa (Weaver) of Denver, Eric, of Lititz, and three grandchildren, Ryan, Alison, and Erin. She is also survived by a niece, Sarah (Bitts) Aldrich, wife of Mark of Lancaster, and a nephew, David Bitts of Lititz.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, December 13, 2010 at 10:30AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Friends will be received at the  funeral home from 9:30 -10:30AM.
