Barbara J. Boswa, age 84 of Lancaster, died of natural causes on March 18, 2018. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. and Alice (Fritz) Urey. She was married for 64 years to Francis J. "Vic" Boswa of Columbia, PA. Barbara was loved and will be greatly missed by her husband, two daughters, Cindy MacPherson, wife of Michael of Pequea, and Carol Eyler of Lancaster, grandchildren Erin Hines, wife of Aaron, and Kyle MacPherson, both of Lancaster, and great granddaughter Nora June Hines. Also surviving is a brother, David Urey, and wife Linda of Summersville, SC. Barbara was preceded in death by her twin brother Paul Urey. Barbara graduated from J. P. McCaskey High School in 1951. She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed spending time with family. She was an accomplished seamstress making clothes for family, gowns for her daughter's wedding, crafts and quilts. In her younger years she helped with Girl Scouts, bowled in a women's league, and enjoyed swimming and spending time in Lewes, DE, with her daughters and parents. She and her husband had a cabin in Perry County for many years where they both liked to walk through the woods and watch deer. Services will be private.
