Barbara A. (Bloom) Brown has left us on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 and is now in heaven with the angels. Barbara was 72 and born on February 19th 1942. Barbara fought a courageous battle with cancer and passed at her home in Lancaster. Barbara was the daughter of the late Violet V. (Shay) Bloom and the late Ed Bloom both from Lancaster. Barbara and her husband traveled the world together. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed summer picnics with family and friends and also loved cooking Sunday dinners. Surviving is her husband Patrick O. Brown, Sr. of 51 plus years. A son, Patrick O. Brown, Jr. married to Cindy Brown, a daughter Pam (Brown) Miller married to Rob Miller and one grandson Phillip Havrilla, all of Lancaster. Barbara had three brothers, Eddie, Jack and Robert which all of whom have preceded her in death.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery, 435 Manor Ave., Millersville, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barbara's memory may be made to Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
