Barbara Bates Beard, 49, died on Thursday, April 29, 2015, at Lancaster General Hospital. She was born in Lancaster to Donna Falk Bates and the late Roger William Bates. Barbara is survived by her 3 children: Andrew, Roger, and Zachary Beard; and 3 siblings, Christina Ross, Cynthia Rabinsky, and Roger William Bates, Jr. Interment at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of the family.
