Barbara J. Barnard, 73, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on December 24, 2015 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Kansas City, KS, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Virginia (Hilf) Banks. Barbara was the wife of 50 years to the late Larry Leon Barnard who died February 2014. She was a Key Puncher Operator for 20 years with the railroad. Barbara enjoyed sitting outside on her front porch and gardening. She also loved to clean and cook. Barbara is survived by a daughter, Kristen Elliott; and two granddaughters: Amanda Elliot and Allison Elliot. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
