Balbir Kooner, 44, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 1, 2009.  Born in Punjab, India, he is the son of Gurdev Singh and Surender Kooner of Reamstown.  Balbir was the husband of Surinder Kaur.

Mr. Kooner was an entrepreneur and a successful business man.  He was a loving father, husband and son, who touched all who knew him.  He was a genuine friend who will be sorely missed by all.  Balbir was a member of Blue Mountain Sikh Temple.

Surviving are his parents, wife, one son, Vikrum Kooner, one daughter, Sonia Kooner both at home, one brother, Kulwinder Kooner of Reamstown, one sister, Rashpal Kaur of Darby, England, and one uncle, Raghbir Kooner.
