Avis "June" Thomas Weidman, 92, of Lititz, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Howard W. and Agnes G. Thomas.

Born in Harrisonburg, VA, and relocating to Millersville later in life, June was a longtime secretary of the District Justice of Millersville, holding the position for 17 years until her retirement. Prior to this, she held a position as an Assistant Central Planner at Hamilton Watch after being a homemaker for a number of years.

June is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, along with Debra Lynn (James R.) Weidman. Preceding June in death is her husband, Nelson Richard Weidman, her son James R. Weidman, her brothers Stanley, Marvin, George, and Albert, and her sisters Helen and Mary Bell.

Services will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. Interment will follow in Quarryville Cemetery. Family and friends will be received from 10-11AM at the funeral home on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in June's name to Bethel E.C. Church, 3716 Main St, Conestoga, PA 17516.
