Aurora Rodriguez, 87, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on September 10, 2018 at ManorCare surrounded by her family. Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Modesto Velez and Juana Cruz. Aurora was the loving wife of Eddie H. Rodriguez. She retired from production work with J.L. Clark. She enjoyed listening to music and tending to the flowers in her garden. She had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh. Aurora was always kind to all and loved her family very much. In addition to her husband, Eddie, Aurora is survived by 4 sons: Eddie Huertas, Tony Huertas, husband of Jill, Juan Rodriguez and Victor Rodriguez, husband of Teresa; 9 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren; and 6 siblings. She was preceded in death by a son, Lupe Gonzalez; a daughter, Olga Gonzalez; and 8 siblings. A viewing will be from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, PA 17602. Viewing will continue at the funeral home from 10-11 AM on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 with a Funeral Service to begin at 11 AM officiated by Pastor Angel Lopez. Aurora will be laid to rest at Conestoga Memorial Park.
