Arthur F. "Art" Rudy, 93, of Landisville, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2007 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lititz, he was the son of the late Harry E. and Ida R. ( Myers ) Rudy. He was the husband of Erma M. ( Swarr) Rudy.

Mr. Rudy was employed for 38 years with Armstrong World Industries retiring as Manager of Production and Control of the Advertising Dept..

He was a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College and received his Masters Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Lancaster Country Club and a member of the Church of  God  of  Landisville  where he taught Sunday School for over  60 years.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children: A. Fred Rudy Jr., married to Nancy, of Lancaster, Patrice Y., married to Dr. H. Michael Frackenthal, of Pittsburgh, PA.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Floyd L. "Bud" Rudy of Landisville.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, September 19 ^th ,2007  at the Church of God of Landisville, 171 Church St., Landisville PA. 17538, at 11AM.. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flower, memorial contributions may be made in Art's memory to the church. The Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home Inc. 393-9661 is in charge of the arrangements.
