Arthur L. Brisbane, 77, of Lancaster, PA formerly of St. Helena Island, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in St. Helena Island, SC, he was the son of the late Geneva (Brisbane) Middleton. He was employed in construction for most of his life and was a member of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Lancaster. Arthur loved hunting and cooking and was a huge Atlanta Braves and Golden State Warriors fan. He enjoyed playing baseball and basketball in his younger years. He is survived by his brother, Benjamin M. Brisbane (Claretha) of St. Helena Island, SC; his nieces: Julie, Lisa, and Michelle; his nephew, Kerwin and a host of loving cousins. Home Going Services will be held at 1PM Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz with Rev. Andrew Jenkins officiating. Family and friends will be received from 12:30PM to 1:00PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery on Monday, June 6, 2016 at 9AM.
