Arlene May Sullenberger, 88 of Lancaster County passed away peacefully March 1, 2023. A Lancaster native; she was born to the late Albert and Elizabeth Sullenberger in 1934. She dedicated her career to caring for others as a nurse assistant at St. Joes Hospital and Quarryville Presbyterian Nursing Home.

Arlene cared deeply for those around her and was quick to put others before herself. She took great pride in her career and was a loving mother and grandmother. She was also strong in faith and a dedicated parishioner to St. Paul's church until its closure.

Left to treasure Arlene's memory is her beloved son Michael Sullenberger; her grandchildren Mindy Sullenberger, Chad Sullenberger, and Lori Sullenberger; her siblings Richard Sullenberger, Peggy Rhodes, Jim Sullenberger, and Dale Sullenberger; her great-grandchildren Dante Eby, Cameron Hollow, Aleena Morales, Anthony Duke, and Ace Wilson; and her great-great grandchildren Kyrie Eby, Dante Eby Jr., and Jaylen Eby. Along with her parents, Arlene is preceded in her passing by her siblings Albert Sullenberger Jr, Nancy Sullenberger, Wayne Sullenberger, Vaughn Sullenberger and Barbara Sullenberger.

A memorial service will take place Monday, March 6, 2023 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA at 2PM. Family invites guests to a visitation one hour prior to service. Arlene will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
