Arlene Mable Neifert of Orwigsburg, Pa went to be with the Lord on April 17, 2019 at the age of 79. Arlene was born in New Ringgold,PA on July 28,1939 to the late Milton J. Sassaman and Viola (Semmel) Sassaman.

She was a woman of strong faith and enjoyed spending time reading her bible daily. She enjoyed nature, especially bird watching and watching the deer outside her window at Orwigsburg Center where she lived for the past 2 years.

In addition to her husband Kenneth (Barney) Neifert, who passed away in 2005, she was also predeceased by her sister Mary Greene, Beverly Sassaman (sister-in-law), and Ronnie Mays (husband to Debbie Mays).

She is survived by her daughter Laura Neidlinger, brother David Sassaman Sr., and her loving nieces and nephews who were there for her as her health failed, Bev and Bob Hein (Cressona, PA) and their children Shawn Hein and Amber Eisenacher, Linda and George Tobias (NY) and their children Nikki Bower and Meghan Tobias, Debbie Mays (TN) and her children Mary and Matthew Mays, David and Becky Sassaman (KY) and their son Daniel, John and Paulette Sassaman (Port Carbon, PA), and Ethel and Mike Reber (OK).

A graveside service will be held at Friedens Lutheran Church Cemetery, New Ringgold on June 8th at 2:00 for family and friends.
