IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Arlene K.
Mosemann
October 3, 1937 – March 24, 2018
Arlene K. Mosemann went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 24, 2018. Arlene was born to Harold and Anna Kofroth White on October 3, 1937, in the Village of Oregon in the house that is now known as Olde Oregon Farmhouse. She and Lloyd K. Mosemann, II were married on September 6, 1957, and immediately moved to Chicago, Illinois. Subsequently, they lived in Waukegan, Illinois and Dayton, Ohio before moving to Fairfax County, Virginia in 1963. They returned to Manheim Township, Pennsylvania in 2007. Arlene and Lloyd have four children: Gigi Renee Falke, Centreville, Virginia; Lloyd K. Mosemann, III, Tyngsboro, Massachusetts; Douglas Lamar Mosemann, Fresno, California; and Holly Joy Mosemann, Huntington Beach, California. Arlene is also survived by a sister-in-law, Claudia White, Seaside California; a niece, Ann Louise White Sfeir, Downingtown, Pennsylvania; and a nephew John White, of Leola, Pennsylvania. There are thirteen grandchildren, three of whom have given her eleven great-grandchildren. During her lifetime, Arlene literally traveled the world, most recently to Vietnam and Cambodia. On Mother's Day 2017, her two daughters posted these sentiments on Facebook: Gigi Mosemann Falke: "Happy Mother's Day to my amazing Mom!! She not only raised her own 4 children with loving care, but she also raised a foster child with disabilities, showered God's love in so many children's lives as a Sunday School teacher and Good News Club leader, and as an elementary Teacher's Aide, fed the homeless in her own kitchen, cared for her aged father in our home, and helped in countless ways with my own 7 sons as they were growing up!! Now slowed with age, she still manages to love on her great-grandchildren and to give encouragement to her many family members. There's a multitude who love you, Mom!!" Holly Joy Mosemann: "My sister already did a great shout-out to my mom!! So I'm going to just add…My mom has been a mom for almost 60 years, and has a lot of wisdom when it comes to raising kids! She is incredibly patient, kind, assumes the best, roots for the underdog, taught us to love and never hate, and has raised an entire brood to follow Jesus! Her prayers have saved my life more times than I care to count! Love you mom. I owe you more than I could ever repay!" Funeral Services for Arlene will be held at 11AM, Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received for a viewing from 10-11AM, prior to the service. Interment will follow at Landis Valley Cemetery.
