Arlene M. "Neen" Lapham, 74, of Willow Street, died Thursday at the Essa Flory Hospice Center.

She was the wife of the late Richard J. Lapham who died in 2004. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Rebecca McComsey Sternaman and the late Harold P. and Nora B. Asper Graham.

Arlene had been a production worker for the Kerr Glass Co., working there for 20 years. Prior to Kerr Glass, she had worked in her father's business, the former Haddie's Sub Shop on Green St.

She enjoyed bingo, cross stitch and playing cards.

Neen is survived by 2 daughters: Patsy J.  married to Jay Walton Sr. of Lancaster, and Jerry L.  married to Albert Lichty Jr of Willow Street; 1 son: Robert W.  married to Mary Geiter of Lancaster; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by 4 sisters: Elsie Sternaman of Manheim, Dot of Lancaster, Eleanor Elston of Lancaster, and Dora Catherson of Lancaster.

She was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Audrey Shifflet and Beverly Phillips,a grandson, Lester Stover, a great grandson Jay L. Walton II, and 2 sisters Vern and June Torres.

Relatives and friends will be received on Monday from 6-8PM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, 685 Good Dr., Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
