Arlene G. Danz, 82, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, July 15, 2016. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Helen (Kopf) Wolf. Arlene was the devoted wife of Vearl W. Danz, Sr. Arlene was a 1952 graduate of McCaskey High School and worked on the assembly line at Slaymaker Lock Co. until her retirement. Arlene was of the Christian faith and enjoyed traveling to the casinos, doing crossword puzzles, and reading. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, Arlene is survived by her children: Vearl W. Danz, Jr., husband of Cindy, of Lancaster; Joseph A. Danz, Sr., husband of Carly, of East Petersburg; and Donna M. Behn, wife of Robert, of Lancaster. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; her sister, Phyllis Crossen, wife of Dave, of Florida; sister-in-law, Glenda Wolf; and a host of nieces and nephews. Arlene is preceded in death by her brothers John and Kenneth Wolf. Funeral Services for Arlene will be held at 11AM, Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA 17551. A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 10-11AM, prior to the service. Interment will follow at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman.
