Arlen L. Landis, 90, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on January 11, 2018 at Hamilton Arms. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Christian & Luetta Landis. Arlen was the loving husband to the late Sylvia (Flowers) Landis who died in 2016. A veteran, he served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a 70 year member of the American Legion Post 56 of Lititz. He was also a lifetime member of the VFW Post 8185. Arlen was a very hardworking man. He enjoyed gardening, cooking and mowing. He still mowed his lawn at the age of 89. Arlen is survived by a daughter, Terri Rhoads, wife of Dennis; a son, Michael R. Landis, husband of Lynda; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and his dog, Sammy. He is preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey A. Landis and siblings: Myron, Gordon and Loren Landis & Idella Hagens. Friends will be received from 1:30-2:30 pm with a Memorial Service to begin at 2:30 pm officiated by Rev. Mark Thiboldeaux on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Charles F.
