Aric Owens, 49, of Lancaster, passed away surrounded by his family on January 5th, 2024. Born in Lancaster to loving parents Howard Hoover and Jodine Owens, Aric was ray of sunshine in their life. Aric had many favorite activities, including watching TV and movies (particularly comedies), going for car rides, kicking soccer balls, and eating ice cream. Aric also loved his teddy bears. Aric was well-known for hating new clothes; he would often refuse to wear anything that had just been purchased. His parents, being the kind, patient, and loving people they are, would take the time to remove all the tags off the clothes they had bought for him so that Aric could always look his best.

Aric is survived by a large and loving family.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 13th, 2024 at St. Paul's Church of God in Christ, located at 215 S Queen St, Lancaster, PA 17603. Visitation will take place from 10 AM to 11 AM with a service to follow. Aric will be privately laid to rest at Mellinger Mennonite.
