Arabel M. (Keim) Palkovic, 84, of Lititz, died peacefully September 7, 2016 at Luther Acres after a brief struggle with cancer. She was born September 22, 1931 in Cleona to the late Calvin and Mary (Deppen) Keim. She married the love of her life, Stephen J. Palkovic, in 1952 and then moved from Lebanon to Lititz to start a family. She was a longtime member of St. James Catholic Church, Lititz. Arabel loved spending time with her family at the beach and vacationing together on their boat. You could often find Arabel shopping, one of her all-time favorite passions. With her husband of 64 years, they raised together two beautiful children: Beth Ann Needelman (Bob) of Lititz, and the late Dr. Stephen M. Palkovic. She was the proud grandmother of Michael and Matthew Needelman; and the sister of Betty Englehart and Sam Keim. It was Arabel's wish that no services be held. Instead, in her memory, a memorial contribution may be made to Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 4125, 685 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17604-4125. Arabel's kind heart and loving manner will be missed by the many people that she has touched during her lifetime.
