Antonia "Candolin" Garcia, 69, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in San Lorenzo, PR, Antonia was the daughter of the late Daniel Garcia Nieves and Dominga Rentas Fonseca.

Antonia was of the Catholic faith.

She was a very joyful person who loved to dance, sing, and play video games. However, the greatest joy of her life was her family, she especially loved her grandchildren!

Antonia is survived by her children: Maribela Garcia, of Lancaster, and Angel Merced, husband of Leticia, of Puerto Rico; 4 grandchildren: Linda Colon, wife of Hector, of Columbia, Jean Melendez, Brian Melendez, and Anthony Rodriguez, all of Lancaster; and 2 great-grandchildren, Ivanna Cancel and Jailynn Matias. Antonia is also survived by a twin brother, Augustine Garcia Rentas, of Puerto Rico; a son-in-law, Daniel Monclova; and a very special friend, Noemi Muniz.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing which will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014 from 6-8PM, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11AM, at the funeral home. There will be a viewing, from 10-11AM, prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
