Antonia Alvarado David, 98, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Lancashire Hall. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Sergio Alvarado and Vicenta David. Antonia loved to cook, help others and was loved greatly by her community in Puerto Rico. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Antonia is survived by her two loving children; Felix and Teofilo Perez, 12 Grandchildren; Felix Perez Sr., Felix Perez Jr., Nelson Perez, Adilia Perez, Jose Perez, Luis Perez, Angel Perez, Wilberto Perez, Leida Perez, Glenda Torres, Teofilo Perez, Jr., and Samuel Perez, 19 Great Grandchildren, and 12 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her four brothers, Gil Alvarado, Ramon Alvarado, Rufino Alvarado, and Benito Alvarado. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at San Juan Bautista Church 425 S. Duke St., Lancaster, PA 17602 on Friday January 20, 2017 at 11AM with The Rev. Edgar Palacios as Celebrant. A viewing will be held at the church from 10-11AM. Interment will be in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
