“Tony” Toth

Anthony J. "Tony" Toth, 80, of Lancaster passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, he was the son of the late George and Veronica (Zyskowski) Toth. He was the husband of Lee A. (Dietrich) Toth with whom he shared over 44 years of loving marriage.
He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and skiing during his younger years. He had a rewarding career as a District Sales Manager at Rheem and Ruud Water Heater Division for over 30 years. During his later years, he liked gardening and spending time with his family. He was a devout member and usher of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church for many years and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Jude A. Toth husband of Paige of Lancaster, Matthew C. Toth of NC, and Catherine V. Witt wife of Michael of Lancaster. Also surviving is his grandson, Preston; cousin, Joanne Sak of NJ; in-laws, Harley, and Sandra Dietrich of NC; nieces, Hillary Parnell of NC, Chelsea Dietrich of NC, and Whitney Underwood of CA.
Family and friends will be received from 10-11AM on Friday September 27th at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave, Lancaster, PA 17601. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11AM on Friday September 27th at the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tony's memory may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
