Anthony Jacob "AJ" Perez, 22, of Lititz, passed away at Lancaster General Hospital on Monday, May 27, 2024. Born in Lancaster, he was the loving son of Betsy Vazquez and Angel Perez.

AJ was a 2020 graduate of Penn Manor High School and earned both a welding certificate and a construction management certificate from CTC. He attended In the Light Ministries in Lancaster.

AJ was known for his determination and drive; once he decided on a goal, nothing could deter him. Articulate and persuasive, AJ had a gift for communication. He often showcased his athletic prowess by doing pushups in the front yard. An adventurous soul, AJ loved traveling and exploring new places. He was passionate about basketball and football, and enjoyed listening to Rap, R&B, and Christian music. He had a special fondness for his mom's cooking and would eagerly devour her meals.

AJ will be deeply missed by his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Jasmine and Jennifer Torres; his niece, Aurora and his nephew, John.

Family and friends will be received for a viewing from 2 PM to 4 PM on Saturday, June 8, at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 4 PM. Interment will be private.
