Anthony Mastriania, Jr., 90, of Lancaster, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Anthony, Sr. and Mary Ann Ream Mastriania. His wife of 58 years Ellen E. Williams Mastriania died in 2003.

A combat veteran of WWII, PFC Mastriania served in the US Army with Company A 409 ^th Infantry in the European Theater of Operations. He was a member of Garden Spot American Legion Post #56, Lititz. Anthony worked as a supervisor for Calder Manufacturing, retiring in 1986. He attended Faith Church, Lancaster. An avid musician, he played guitar in several country western bands in the 1950's, 60's and 70's throughout the area.

Surviving are 3 children, Jacqueline A., wife of Barry G. Straley, Allentown, Anthony Mastriania, III, husband of Joan E. Jarrett, Hummelstown, and Ronald L. husband of Claire Ferguson Mastriania, Quarryville; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and his sister Mary Bitts, Neffsville. Anthony was preceded in death by 6 siblings, Minnie Hall, Frances Morrison, Lucy Markley, and Joseph, Frank and John Mastriania. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
