IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anthony Eugene
Frey
January 30, 2025
Anthony Eugene Frey, affectionately known as Tony, passed away on January 30, 2025. Born in Lancaster Pennsylvania on February 9, 1973, Tony's life was one of remarkable resilience and kindness.
Tony's journey took a profound turn after a life-altering accident in 1999, which left him paralyzed from the waist down. Despite this, he never let his condition define him. Instead, Tony became a beacon of hope and support, teaching and helping others with the same patience and care he applied to his numerous hobbies and projects.
He was a man of many talents, self-taught in computer programming and adept at various software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks and FileMaker Pro.
Tony had a passion for building, from remote-controlled airplanes to mechanical repairs showcasing his engineering spirit. His love for learning was infectious, and he often shared this with those around him, particularly in moments like helping a young man to become a plumber, aiding him to graduate and start a new life.
Tony was not only a brother but a mentor and friend to many. He carried his burdens with dignity, rarely complaining about his own struggles, understanding the human need for moments of vulnerability. His life was a testament to the human spirit's capacity to overcome adversity through love, patience, and an unwavering commitment to helping others.
Tony's legacy is one of compassion, creativity, and an indomitable will to teach and inspire. He believed in the potential of every person to achieve more than they thought possible.
In accordance with his brother Larry's beliefs, Tony's passing is seen not as an end but as a transition to another journey.
Tony is survived by his daughter, Daisy Frey, his parents, Larry Frey Sr. and Kathy Frey, his brother and sister in law, Larry Frey Jr., Cindy Frey and countless others whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his generous heart and indomitable spirit.
A non-traditional memorial service celebrating Tony's life will be held at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA from 3 to 5pm. The first 90 minutes dedicated to sharing memories, viewing photos, and enjoying music that Tony loved. The final 30 minutes will be reserved for a eulogy and open floor for attendees to share words, stories, or memories about Tony.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tony's memory can be made to Tony Foundation, a foundation that helps families in need, reflecting his lifelong dedication to supporting and uplifting others.
