Anne (Hellman) VanArsdale, 85, of Manheim, passed away peacefully Friday, November 9, 2012 at Pleasantview Retirement Community, Manheim.

Born in Petite Rosselle, France, she was the wife of the late John F. VanArsdale, and the daughter of the late Charle and Emma (Weiker) Hellman.

Anne was employed as a machinist at Kerr Glass for over thirteen years, and as a lab assistant at Lancaster Lab for fourteen years until her retirement in 2001.

She attended Ephrata Church of the Nazarene.

Anne loved to cook and bake.

She is survived by a son, John VanArsdale of Lewistown; a brother, Charle Hellman Jr. of France; a sister, Amie Ribet of France; and a granddaughter, Danielle.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA with Rev. BW Hambrick officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 PM Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the funeral home, and again from 9 to 10 AM prior to the service on Wednesday.  Friends may meet at Edgewood Memorial Park in Glen Mills, PA on Wednesday at 2 PM for burial.
