Anna K. Porter, 87, of Landis Homes, Lititz, passed away on January 2, 2013 at the Heart of Lancaster Medical Center. Born in Bart Twp, PA she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Elizabeth (Plastino) Boyer. Her husband, Henry Porter passed away in 1988.

Anna was a graduate of Ursinus College and graduated with a Bachelor's degree. She went onto work for the state as a social worker, retiring from there after 40 years of service. She was active in the Blind association and helped knit for patients at the Ephrata Hospital and as well as hats for soldiers overseas.

She is survived by 2 nieces, Donna A. Fisher, wife of Leroy D. of Stevens, PA, and Paula M. Summers, wife of James, of Morris, PA. She was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Stoltzfus Neff.

In keeping with Anna's wishes there will be no formal funeral services. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Susquehanna Assoc. for the Blind, 244 N. Queen St, Lancaster, PA 17603.
