Anna A. Lombardo, 94, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Lancaster General Hospital. Anna was born in Lancaster on December 27, 1917.

"Miss Lombardo" was a well-respected registered nurse, receiving an RN from St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in 1951 and in 1960, a BS in Education from Millersville University. "Miss Lombardo's " career included employment at Lancaster General Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital. She was also a Nursing Instructor at Vo-Tech in Willow Street. After retiring from Lancaster General Hospital, Anna volunteered at St. Anne's Retirement Village in Columbia.

She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

Anna was predeceased by her parents, Saverio and Elizabeth Lombardo, her brothers James, Joseph, David, and Nicholas and her sisters, Mary Caterbone, Victoria Baldori-Kenific and Caroline Lalli. She has left eleven nieces and eight nephews along with many great nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 12 Noon from St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602, the Rev. Daniel Mitzel as Celebrant. Interment in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery.
