Anna F. Enck, 93, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on February 16, 2017 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Mount Joy, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Lilllian (Mumma) Newcomer. Anna was the wife to the late Richard S. Enck and together they celebrated 56 years of marriage. She took loving care of her family, which was always her top priority. Anna worked for Enck's Catering, her family's business. She prepared the buffet and food for Encks Barons Stiegel. Her passion and gift was cooking and baking. She worked at the Smack at Millersville for 10 years in food service as well. Anna enjoyed going to the mountains at the family camp in Potter County. She enjoyed 4-wheeling with her grandchildren even at the rich age of 93. She also loved to garden and be in the outdoors. Family gatherings were really important to Anna. Surviving are 10 children: Kenneth Enck (Karin) of Manheim, Judy Breneman (Phares) of Millersville, Dave Enck (Cathy) of Quarryville, John Enck (Kathy) of Quarryville, Tom Enck (Julie) of Strasburg, Darlene Breneman (Doug) of Elizabethtown, Diane Stauffer (Clyde) of Willow Street, Donna Boas (Lester) of Virginia, Dawn Hess (Duane) of Washington Boro and Dean Enck (Jennifer) of Conestoga; 33 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; sisters: Mary Eshelman (Raymond) and Martha Harnish (the late Elvin); Daughters-in-law: Jane Hake, Nancy Enck and Sharon Enck. Anna was preceded in death by 4 sons: Nelson, Ronald, Dale and Larry Enck; a sister, Arlene Newcomer. A viewing will be held from 12-2 PM on Monday, February 20, 2017 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM following the viewing. Anna will be laid to rest at Landisville Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice & Community Care, 685 Good Drive, Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
