Ann Sylvia Snyder, 100, died peacefully at her home on November 12, 2012. Ann was born in Philadelphia, PA the daughter of the late Justina (Tanzer) and George Hiemenz.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church for 15 years but was best known for her 47 years of dedication and hard work at her beloved St. Michael Roman Catholic Church in Levittown. She retired from Bishop Conwell Girl's High School after 19 years as the head cook and is remembered as a fine baker, a loyal friend, a good neighbor and a hard-working wife and mother. She is survived by her loving son, Joseph C. Snyder, daughter-in-law, Carol A. (Kealey), four grandsons; Thomas, husband of Doreen (Jenner), Stephen, husband of Carrie (Biagio) and Eric, all of Mountville and Darren, husband of Lori (Noffz) of Landisville. Ann was dearly loved and will be fondly remembered by her six great-grandchildren: Megan, Brandon, Julia, Ryan, Paige and Sara who delighted her beyond measure. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Husted in 1941, her second husband, Joseph H. Snyder in 1999 and her son Edward Husted in 2011.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 558 West Walnut St, Lancaster, PA on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 1PM with Father Michael E. Messner as Celebrant. Family and friends will be received at the church between 12-1PM. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery Columbarium on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 1PM.
