Ann G. Bolakas went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2008 while being cared for at Lancaster General Hospital.  She was the loving wife of John A. Bolakas for fifty-two years.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed sunny days, laughter, and tending to her family.  Her life was a legacy of devotion to family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, John, son, John F. Bolakas, husband of Jill, of Altavista, VA, and daughter, Annette (Bolakas) Landis, wife of William C., of Lancaster, PA.  She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Francesca L. Valente, Dawn (Landis) Mallonee, wife of Larry, David W. Landis, Rachel Mia Bolakas, and Sophia G. Bolakas, and two sisters, Catherine Carr, and Frances Cangelosi.

Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to attend a Friday night viewing from 7:30 -9:00 PM and again at 10:00 AM Saturday morning until the time of service.   Funeral Services will start at 11:00 AM at Charles F.
