Ann M. Barto, 80, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at United Zion Retirement Community. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Walter F. and Mary C. (Melcher) Zurcher. Her husband Edward D. Barto passed away in 2010. Ann graduated from St. Anne's school and attended Lancaster Catholic High School. She then went on to work at K-D Tools, Lancaster for many years and later on worked for NTN-Federal Mogul for 18 years retiring from there in 1999. Ann loved birds, enjoyed feeding squirrels, and especially spending time with her family. Surviving is a son, Mark C., husband of Cassie Barto, of Peach Bottom; two grandchildren: Gavyn T. and Eden M. Barto; one brother, Richard J. Zurcher, of Baltimore, MD and a sister, Ruth M. Patton, companion of Richard, of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter F. Zurcher, Jr. Funeral Services and Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
