Anibal "Nivi" Ortiz, Sr., 62, of Lancaster, passed away on February 2, 2026, at his home. Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of Alejandro Ortiz and the late Rosa Milagros Arroyo.

Anibal worked as a mechanic for many years and was an avid car enthusiast, with a special love for Hondas and Toyotas. He enjoyed listening to music, drinking a cold Heineken, and spending time with his family.

Anibal is survived by his life partner Mildred Delgago, son Anibal Ortiz, Jr. (Alexsandra), daughter Edra Rivera, brother Carlos Ortiz Arroyo, and 12 grandchildren: Emily, Amarilis, Anaiz, Kiana, Anthony, Ava, Daesha, Makaila, Katelynn, Kiandra, Naziah, and Jadiel. He was predeceased by his brother Luis Ortiz.
