Mr. Anh Van Ly, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, cousin, and uncle passed away at 1:42 a.m.Tuesday February 8, 2022 at the age of 78. Anh was born on October 1, 1943 in My Tho, Viet Nam. As a vietnam refugee, he left his homeland and his wife with his only child Ron and a duffle bag of belongings to come to Lancater, Pa in 1979 to find a better life. Shortly after he sponsored his wife Lua to reunite with him in his new hometown to raise his family. Anh was a true family man, he worked endlessly enduring hardship until his final days to support his family and provide them with a good future. Anh was a generous and compassionate man who is loved by everyone around him. As an only son in his family of 6, he played the role of a father figure and go to guy for help and advice to whoever needed it, especially his relatives. He even frequently donated to charities, as well as strangers in need. Anh was a self sufficient man that didn't like to be helped but always offered help to others. He always thrived to be his best at everything he does. Anh enjoyed reading, travelling, and eating out especially with his family and relatives. Anh is survived by his wife Lua Thi Ly, son Ronald Ly, daughter-in-law Janice Tien, 2 granddaughters Angelina Ly and Nicole Ly, sister Anh Ly Teitler, brother-in-law Sidney Teitler, brother-in-law Chris Risser, and his extended aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. As family members and dear friends, we love you and miss you dearly and will remember you for eternity. Your jobs and responsibilities are all now achieved and accomplished so you may get some well deserved rest and relaxation. We thank you for all your service, your love and devotions, and the memories that we shared. You may be far from us physically, but you are closer than ever spiritually in our hearts. Farewell for now until we meet again. May your soul rest in peace.

Anh Lý là một người chồng, người cha gương mẩu. Nhớ hồi năm 1975, sau khi anh đi học tập cải tạo về , anh đã quyết định đi xuất ngoại dẫn theo đứa con duy nhất của mình "Duy Ly" để tìm bến bờ tự do. Từ hai bàn tay trắng , nơi đất khách quê người, anh đã cố gắng đi làm và tạo dựng sự nghiệp, để có cuộc sống sung túc cho gia đình vợ và con.

Anh là 1 người chồng yêu thuong vợ, tất cả chuyện trong nhà đến ngoài, điều một mình anh gánh vác, từ tưới cây, cắt cỏ ,giặc dủ , điều do anh lo.

Anh là 1 người cha gương mẫu và rất yêu thương Duy, con trai của mình. Anh lo cho con ăn học không để con thiếu thốn thứ gì. Anh an ở hiền lành, không xích mích một ai, lúc nào cũng vui vẻ với mọi người và luôn được mọi người yêu mến. Anh có tấm lòng nhân ái và hay giúp đỡ người nghèo khổ. Ngày nay anh ra đi, là một sự mất mát to lớn đến với gia đình, giời anh đã lo cho Duy có một gia đình êm ấm; có vợ và có con rồi, thôi thì anh hãy thanh thãng ra đi.
